About the temple
Vemulawada is situated in Rajanna Siricilla District, about 12 kms from District Headquarters & 36kms from the Karimnagar & 150 kms from Telangana State Capital Hyderabad. Sri Raja Rajeswara Swamy Vari Devastahanam, Vemulawada is Famous holy shrine of Lord Shiva in India attracting thousands of pilgrims which is built by Chalukyas.
Vemulawada Raja Rajeswara Swamy Shrine is popularly known as Dakshina Kasi and also known as as Hari Hara Kshetram, because in the temple prmises there ar two temples of Lord Vishnu i.e., Sri Seetharama Chandra Swamy Temple & Shree Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple
Even though main deity is Lord Shiva, Sreerama Navami is the 2nd major festival in this temple, first one is Maha Shivaratri.

Holy Tank, Dharma Gundam
Pilgrims first perform a divine bath in Dharma Gundam then proceeds for the darshana of the Lord Vemulawada Rajanna. Devotees on bathing in the Dharma Gundam, which is situated beside to main temple, feel that all of their sins were purified in the water.

Very special offering to Lord Shiva - Kode Mokku
kode mokku is a ritual where the devotee makes the pradakshinam of the temple with a kode (cow) which is vahanam(nandi) of Lord Shiva and leaves them in the temple only. Devotees perform the Kode Mokku on fulfillment of their wishes and half of the income of the temple generates from Kode Mokkus itself
